I am an experienced companion animal veterinary surgeon with a special focus on end-of-life care. After years of working in small animal practice, I came to realise how important it is for pets and their families to be able to say goodbye in a calm, familiar environment. Having lost my own pets, I too have experienced the complex emotions, and the grief of losing a much loved family member. I believe that euthanasia, when the time comes, should be gentle, dignified, and centred around the comfort of both the pet and their family.
